Satellite TV
guides
It can be hard to find satellite tv
guides that list all the tv channels and shows that you want to
watch. The biggest satellite TV guide is LyngSat, a
company which lists the free channels available for Canada,
America, Africa and Europe. The listings are shown in a neat
graph, with most channel names being a clickable link that will
tell you more about what’s being shown on that channel. The
graph also shows you the channels symbol, the satellite and
beam it uses, and the video data stream.
Galaxy Marketing also offers a free
satellite tv guide, which lists the channels for C and Ku band.
By clicking on the frequency or satellite, you are shown a
comprehensive list of what is being shown on it. However, as a
third party provider, some of the listings are changed at the
last minute.
'Dial a Dish' also offers a complete
list of satellites, frequencies and listings, as well as
selling and installing dishes and digiboxes. Their website
looks very smart and polished, and is regularly updated. The
listings are kept up to date, although for some satellites or
countries, clicking on the link transfers you back to
LyngSat.
Some publications now include free viewing
channels, and there are plans to launch a weekly
satellite tv guide for free to view channels in some
parts of America.
